Eagle Court is a purpose-built block of 8 spacious
one-bedroom apartments. The property was
built in 1988 and each apartment is subject to a
99-year lease from 1988. The property is divided
into two adjoining blocks, a three-storey block
with 6 apartments and a two-storey block with
two apartments. Single vehicle parking is
provided for each leaseholder together with a
communal drying area.
Various improvements have been carried out
since Eagle Court (2007) Limited took over the
management responsibility for Eagle Court in
2007 and these improvements include the
provision of replacement double glazing to all
apartments, and, the car park and the drying
area were re-organised and resurfaced in 2011.
The new management company Eagle Court
(2007) Limited was formed as the freehold of
Eagle Court was at that time vested in the Crown
as an earlier management company lost the
freehold and the property became ‘bona
vacantia’ when the previous management
company was struck off the company register
and the freehold reverted to the Crown.
Business and Banking Solutions Ltd was
requested to assist and they offered assistance
to the leaseholders and the freehold was
subsequently released from the Crown in 2007.
Business and Banking Solutions Ltd continue to
act as agents for the management company and
attend to the day to day management
requirements.
Eagle Court
Eagle Court is conveniently situated and is within
easy walking distance of the centre of Wellington
(a thriving market town with a large selection of
independent and high street shops and a regular
market held on 4 days a week). Also, it is within
easy walking of the Princes Royal Hospital (with a
24 hour A&E department) and for commuting as
both the railway and bus stations are within 10
minutes’ walk. The area is also served by a variety
of nursery, primary and secondary schools.
